What is Residence Hall Association?
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is the second-largest organization on campus, and we serve and advocate for more than 9,000 residents on campus. Our mission is to create community and promote a fun and inclusive environment for residents. RHA hosts a myriad of different programs, ranging from a Taste of Athens to a sustainable film night on Myers Quad. These programs and promotional items are free for all residents and, for certain programs, are open to all students or even the entire Athens community. RHA also supports University Housing in its primary mission through different initiatives including personal development, academic success, diversity, and sustainability.
What do we do?
We host programs for residents across campus such as Dawg Fest, Scream on the Green, and Taste of Athens! Our main purpose is to give the residents at UGA a voice. We focus on writing legislation and advocating for the needs of residence on campus.
