Hi _____,
We’re excited to meet you soon!
Roommate information can be found in The Dawg House under “My Details.” If a student has restricted their directory information, you will not be able to see their information—please wait for them to contact you.
ARRIVAL INFORMATION
Bring your UGACard or a photo ID and your student ID number to check in.
Your arrival time is __________. Plan to check in at your arrival time. Unloading zone parking passes will be delivered to your UGA email July 31—please print it and bring it with you on your move-in day. For information specific to your building, including directions, parking maps, check-in locations, cart checkouts and more, visit the MOVE IN page of the housing website.
A limited number of carts will be available to assist with moving belongings; if possible, we encourage you to bring your own hand cart or dolly.*
THINGS TO DO:
- Join housing’s Move-In Webinar at 7 p.m. Eastern Thursday, July 30
- Read the Community Guide for information about the following:
- Policies, procedures and regulations
- University Housing staff
- Cooking and decorating
- Resident conduct codes
- Set up your Personal Identification Number (PIN) for building access (except UV East). You can set up a PIN once you have had your UGACard for approximately 24 hours. Without both the card and the PIN, you will not have access to the building following move in
MAIL AND PACKAGES
All buildings accept mail from all major postal carriers. Please arrange for packages to be delivered after your check-in date. Packages received before you check in will be returned to the sender. Once delivered, wait for a package notification email with instructions for picking up your package at the desk. Use the address format listed for your building on the MOVE IN page of the housing website.
Safe travels on your way to UGA, and we look forward to welcoming you to campus soon!
Go dawgs,

*Trailers and other oversized vehicles
We discourage residents and supporters from bringing trailers and oversized vehicles. Parking is limited, and campus parking lots are difficult to navigate when towing or maneuvering trailers. Vehicles with or without trailers that cannot fit in one parking space are not permitted in unloading zones or designated long-term parking lots; parking for these vehicles is available in the W17 parking lot near the corner of Hull Street and Broad Street. Please review the map below:
