General Orientation Housing Information
Parking
Use the Hull Street Deck (W05) for all-day and overnight parking.
Roommates
University Housing staff will make room assignments as participants check into housing. If you wish to request a roommate, please do so at check in.
Only you and your assigned roommate are permitted to stay overnight in your room. If you do not have a roommate, you may not bring overnight guests to occupy that vacancy.
Building access
Upon checking in, you will receive a key to your room and a building access card. You must carry your access card with you at all times, as you will need it and the PIN number provided to access the building. Only students with access cards are permitted behind the secure access points.
Accommodations for students with disabilities
If you indicated a need for a housing accommodation due to a disability on the orientation registration form, Accessibility and Testing will receive your request and notify University Housing to prepare any accommodations required during your stay.
For students who might need a housing accommodation not related to a disability, please contact University Housing at housing@uga.edu.
Quiet hours
Because some participants may be preparing to take exams during orientation, quiet hours will be observed from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
