Of the Month Awards (OTMs)
OTMs are a recognition tool that come in the form of short essays in which the writer nominates a person, group or program to be considered for campus, regional and national recognition. To submit an OTM, go to the NRHH OTM submission page here: Submit an OTM.
At UGA, the NRHH members and executive board review submissions and vote on campus-level winners. OTMs recognized on the campus level are submitted to the SAACURH Region (South Atlantic Affiliation of College and University Residence Halls) and will be voted upon by the SAACURH Regional Board. If the OTM wins at the regional level, the OTM will be sent to the national level, NACURH (National Association of College and University Residence Halls) for further voting and recognition.
Campuses may nominate OTMs in 18 Categories:
Campus Staff: Advisor, Graduate Assistant (Includes Graduate Residents), Institution Faculty/Staff, Resident Assistant, Residence Life Professional Staff, Student Staff Member
Programs: Diversity Program, Educational Program, Passive Program, Recognition Program, Service Program, Social Program
Campus Impact: Executive Board Member, First-Year Student, Organization, Residential Community, and Student.
Spotlight: If your nomination fits into something outside of these categories, submit to the Spotlight category.

Of the Year Awards (OTYs)
OTYs help recognize hard-working individuals who continuously stand out and enhance the on-campus experience at the University of Georgia. Is there an organization, a staff member or a few students who you find yourself repeatedly wanting to recognize for an OTM? These people/organizations/groups may be more than deserving of an OTY award!
The recipients of these awards are selected by a group of volunteer judges comprised of University Housing Staff apart from advisors. There are 17 categories for OTYs.
