PNM move in 2026
Potential New Members (PNMs) should plan to move into the residence halls Sunday, August 9. Because PNMs move in before the official start of their residence hall contract, a nonrefundable $250 early arrival charge will be assessed. This charge will appear in your student account after August 7.
All PNMs are required to schedule an arrival time for August 9.*
- Your arrival time is a 15-minute window during which you should arrive on campus to begin moving in. After arriving you will have one hour to unload before moving to long-term parking. After moving to long-term parking, take as much time as you need to unpack and set up your room.
- Arrival times help stagger parking, check-in lines and elevator use.
- Arrival times will be available for you to choose—depending on your building—July 7,8 or 9.
- University Housing will communicate information via your UGA email address about arrival time scheduling.
- The site to sign up or adjust your arrival time slot will close on August 6.
* University Housing guarantees an arrival time on August 9, however, we cannot guarantee a specific arrival time on that day because arrival time choice is a student-driven process. Please remain flexible with your plans until you choose your arrival time.
Limited operations August 9-13
Residence hall front desks and mailrooms open Friday, August 14. Mail and packages sent before that date will be refused.
If, after moving in, you experience issues with access or facilities concerns, call 706-542-8289 or visit the front desk of Creswell Hall.
PNMs must set up their housing Personal Identification Number (PIN) before arriving on campus to move in. Residence hall access will be activated for students with arrival times; use your UGACard and PIN to access your building (except UV East).
