Dear residents,

Residence halls close May 6 at 12 p.m. or 24 hours after last final, whichever is earlier. Plan to leave the residence halls within 24 hours of your last exam. Students participating in commencement or transitioning to a summer space must check out May 9 by 12 p.m. 

University Village residents have until May 25 at 12 p.m. to check out. 

Checkout procedure: 

• Log onto The Dawg House to choose a checkout day (available beginning April 20). 
• Residents in Black-Diallo-Miller and Creswell halls will choose a day and a specific two-hour window (to minimize parking congestion). 
• The checkout form will be available on The Dawg House April 20-May 1. 
• Complete checkout task list. 
• Upon checkout, pick up a checkout envelope at desk to leave your key(s). 
• If you would like an in-person checkout, please contact your residence hall director. 
• To request an extension: Submit an extension request form in The Dawg House as soon as possible. 

Residents planning to transition to a summer assignment within University Housing should check their email for information and a timeline specific to their move.
