Dear Student, 

As we move through the spring, we realize you are eager to choose your housing for fall 2026. The opportunity to choose your space will take place after the university’s commitment deadline of May 1. Appointment times will be given in order in which you registered for housing and paid the non-refundable registration fee. 

Until then, continue to check your email for information about designating roommates and research halls and rates at housing.uga.edu. I also invite you to check out housing’s New Student Hub, where you’ll find lots of helpful information and a timeline of the assignments process. 

We’ve also added three informational webinars for first-year students and supporters, where you’ll have a chance to speak with staff and current students to get answers to your questions:
