Register for Housing
Choose from the menu on the left to apply for housing. First-year and returning students with families click the Transfer and Graduate Students link for more information about family housing options. View timelines and deadlines for more details on the overall process for students admitted for fall.
Students admitted for spring will register on October 1st and can see timelines and deadline (and link to a page with just their timeline).
NOTE ABOUT FIRST-YEAR HOUSING:
All first-year students are required to live on campus, which features 22 residence halls in eight communities. Because hall and roommate preferences are prioritized in order of registration date, we strongly recommended that students register and submit the $35 non-refundable University Housing registration fee as soon as possible following admission. Housing registration will be open on Mondays after admissions emails are sent on Fridays. Students MUST have a MyID to register for housing. Instructions for obtaining a MyID will be sent via email from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Registration is completed through The Dawg House and does not obligate you to enroll at UGA.
