Creswell Community

The Creswell Community,  which includes Creswell Hall, is one of three high-rise residential communities located on Baxter Street and designated solely to first-year students. Creswell is a coeducational residential community for first-year students.

Named after Mary Ethel Creswell, the first woman to receive a degree from the University of Georgia, Creswell Community is home to male and female first-year students whose academic pursuits are balanced with the recreational opportunities found on the large patio and in the sand volleyball pit. Creswell residents maintain high levels of resident participation in community service projects and resident leadership opportunities. Creswell residents also enjoy living near the award-winning Bolton Dining Commons—they're never more than a few steps away from a great meal.

Creswell Community residents should read the Creswell Community Resident Guide for the most up-to-date information about access to amenities within Creswell Hall and basic policies and procedures.
