Custodial Services

RESIDENCE HALLS: Residents are responsible for cleaning their own rooms.  University Housing custodial staff clean the common areas and bathrooms in each traditional-style residence hall every weekday and bathrooms in rooms with en-suite bathrooms weekly. Housing staff members also patrol the buildings to address custodial issues on the weekends. Students are responsible for cleaning their own rooms and taking out their own trash and recycling.

EAST CAMPUS VILLAGE: ECV residents are responsible for cleaning their own rooms and bathrooms and providing toilet tissue. A weekly apartment-cleaning service is available to a limited number of East Campus Village residents for an additional fee above the cost of housing. Information on this service is available from the East Campus Village Community Office in Rooker Hall.  Students must take their trash to the hall's dumpster.

UNIVERSITY VILLAGE HOUSING AND HEALTH SCIENCES CAMPUS TOWNHOMES: Residents in University Village Housing and HSC are responsible for cleaning their own apartments/townhomes and bathrooms. Housing building services workers clean common areas such as offices, lobbies, community kitchens, study lounges and community rooms.  Students are responsible for cleaning their own rooms and taking out their own trash and recycling.
