University Housing employs more than 200 full-time professional personnel with a wide variety of skills, experiences and degrees of professional/educational development. Unifying the daily activities of this large and diverse team is the department mission:

Area Coordinator (Anticipated Vacancy)

There are currently no openings for this position.

The Area Coordinator is a mid-manager level Student Affairs professional with primary responsibility for the direction, oversight and comprehensive operation of a community of one or more residence halls with a total combined occupancy of approximately 1,000-1,300 students. Area coordinators supervise a team of personnel at various levels while also guiding the community's programmatic efforts. This is a managerial live-on position with the option to petition to move off campus at a later date.

Residence Hall Director (Anticipated Vacancy)

This is an entry-level, live-in position, the primary function of which is to assist in the management of one or more residence halls housing up to 500 residents. Special emphasis is given to coordinating programmatic and academic initiatives, advising student groups and supervising student staff members, including resident assistants, C.L.A.S.S. advocates and/or desk assistants.
