McWhorter Hall

Small groups of two, three and four residents share fully furnished apartments equipped with spacious living rooms and kitchenettes complete with cabinets, a microwave, a kitchen sink and a full size refrigerator. Each resident also enjoys a private bedroom equipped with a full-size bed, a dresser, a desk and a chair, as well as high-speed Internet service and a cable television connection. Apartments are outfitted with one or two full bathrooms, ensuring no more than two residents must share a bathroom. Each apartment is also equipped with a resident-controlled high efficiency heating and cooling unit. Additional ECV residence hall amenities include laundry rooms, study rooms, conference/meeting areas, computer labs and vending areas.

The visitation option for McWhorter Hall is “2,” which allows for visitors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Visitation Codes

1	Restricted	Visitation permitted Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., and 24 hours beginning 10:00 a.m. Friday to 2:00 am Monday (Sunday night).
2	24/7	Visitation permitted 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

* A few rooms in McWhorter and Vandiver Halls are equipped with 80 X 54 mattresses as a result of specific room configurations.

** All UGA residence halls are fully heated or air conditioned, depending on season. Buildings where in-room controls are not available are managed by a central, building-wide control system.
